~ LENGTH: To start make
sure your dog is standing properly, not sitting, slouching or laying
down (or as in picture below). Measure
from along your dog's backbone from the base of the neck (between
shoulder blades) to the
base of the tail.

~ CHEST: Measure the thickest
part of the chest (usually behind the two front legs) this may
vary by breed as in picture below.
~ Our preferred
method of measuring is below. Having the dog stand on two legs
while someone holds the paws, enables the back to be elongated for
more accurate measuring.
